MANDATE

The Truth Gym Gallery located at 1035 Alston St, Victoria, BC is a commercial gallery dedicated to exhibiting contemporary works of art in relation to the human body, its pliability and movement.

Our goal is to present contemporary visual and performance art by artists from the region, across the nation and internationally. The exhibitions include lectures, performances, workshops, residencies and publications. We do curatorial selections to host both solo and group shows for our 122 m2 of exhibition space.

As an exhibition venue with cultural and intellectual programing, The Truth Gym Gallery will present a variety of visual art experiences and explorations motivating and expanding the perception of contemporary art in the community.

The 2021/2022 price is $500 + tax and is available for rent on 7 days a week from 8am – 10pm. This price includes use of the art gallery space, restrooms, (64) black plastic folding chairs and parking.

GALLERY INCLUDES

→ An 18′ wall of south facing windows with plenty of natural light and blinds that can be pulled down to block the light
→ Wifi, and bluetooth speaker
→ Limited parking lot and free street parking is available in the area
→ 64 black plastic folding chairs
→ Access to shared restrooms

The studio can also accommodate small workshops, events, offsite meetings, or short term pop-ups.

BOOKING AVAILABILITY / RESTRICTIONS FITNESS

→ Regular operating hours are 7 days a week 8am-10pm
→ 4 hour minimum booking during operating hours
→ Reduced daily rate if you need the space for multiple dates, please inquire
→ Full time renters do rent the desks in the back and may be present during a weekday rental
