Truth downtown is unreal Espically the staff super helpful.
Truth is a great downtown gym in Victoria. It has all the equipment needed for the SBD days and a variety of machines to do accessories on. It is nice that they also have a real deadlift bar if you want to get that nice bar flex and push numbers. The community is friendly and the staff keep everything maintained and very clean.
Made the switch to Truth 2.5 years ago, and so glad I did. The staff are super friendly, inviting, and personable. Whether you're a hardcore bodybuilder, into power lifting, new to lifting, young or old, it's a great space with an amazing community atmosphere.
While the membership is on the pricier side, the 24 hour access, variety of gym equipment, supplements, clothing and food, it's definitely worth every penny and a great investment in your health, body and mind!
As with any gym, there are peak hours where it can be busy and you have to wait for machines, but it's not nearly as bad as some of the other corporate gyms and rec centers. My preferred time is always pretty quiet and I absolutely love it. The same time at your bigger gym chains is a zoo!! Private club vibes 🙂 There's also always some people willing to work in with you, or give you a spot, and that's what gyms need to bring back.
Hands down the best gym near the downtown area with a second location opening soon, very excited for that, and can't wait to see what the owners do with the new space!

How do I get there by car?
We are centrally located in Vic West. We have a dedicated parking lot for members directly in front of the building.
Note: Please ensure you register your vehicle at the front desk to receive your parking pass.
How do I get there by bus?
We are easily accessible via BC Transit. Routes #14 and #15 stop along Esquimalt Road, just a short 5-minute walk from the gym entrance.
What are the staffed hours?
Members enjoy 24/7 Key Fob access. For tours, drop-ins, or pro-shop purchases, our staff is available:
