Hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to! I love how committed everyone is but so friendly at the same time. The staff are so amazing and really make you feel welcome. I was nervous joining as my boyfriend has competed in a body building show and I was more of a newbie, but this place in the last few years has become a second home.

I was initially a little intimidated when I first decided to join Truth Gym - it’s a really popular location for both amateur and pro bodybuilders and seeing all these amazing athletes around I felt self-conscious about my body and my abilities. Those feelings were quickly shelved when I started to meet the staff, owners and other members. Everyone is on their own journey and there is so much respect for that here, whether you’re at the start of it, like I was, or you’re a pro in prep for your next comp. I’ve experienced so much encouragement and support from the Truth team and its members. Their selection. Of equipment is great and I find I rarely have to wait for machines even at peak times. If you’re in the downtown area, Vic west, or esquimalt, you can’t find a better place to train. Also, they carry some great merch, supplements, snacks, and even have a pre workout bar in case you forgot your own. I’ve been a member for just over a year and happy to say I’m just as committed to my fitness journey, in no small part because of the community at Truth.

Truth is the best downtown gym. Huge array of equipment and they provide regular maintenance to ensure they are in good working order. Very clean! You can expect to regularly see someone cleaning the floor and washrooms throughout the day and night. There's no shortage of plates for those heavy days. Heaviest dumbbells around and they top out at 200 lbs! Whether you're new to lifting or a seasoned veteran this is the place to workout.

We are centrally located in Vic West. We have a dedicated parking lot for members directly in front of the building. Note: Please ensure you register your vehicle at the front desk to receive your parking pass.

We are easily accessible via BC Transit. Routes #14 and #15 stop along Esquimalt Road, just a short 5-minute walk from the gym entrance.
What are the staffed hours?
