Please note:  Artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from Truth Gym Gallery. Artists who are not able to pick up their unsold work(s) on January 13th-15th, 2023 between 10 AM-6 PM will need to cover the cost of the return of their work(s). 

The Truth Gym Gallery will host the 2022 Christmas Juried Art Exhibition. Artists working in all media and disciplines are welcome.

The Truth Gym Gallery (TGG) is interested in hosting an exhibition for the SPAC members. Submitted works will invite the viewer to explore a contemporary approach to the art in relation to the human body, its pliability and movement. Alternatively, work in various forms of artistic expression which study the well-being of the planet, and our environment will be considered. An emphasis will be given to works highlighting how our existence, survival and dependence are closely related to the evenness and strength of our planet.

2022 Jurors:

Wendy Dufield:

Wendy completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Alberta, and studied jewellery making in Australia where she lived for over 25 years.

She conducts art classes for children and adults at Magnolia Art studio in North Saanich, British Columbia, Canada. She is a SPAC member. Her art is best experienced in person and each piece invites the viewer to ponder, wonder, discover, and reminisce.

Cesar Forero:

A Colombian-born Canadian citizen with a background and training in architecture, sculpture, painting, and public performance. Forero holds an MA from Minnesota State University and an MFA from the University of Waterloo, Ontario. He has taught architecture, design and art at the university level in Colombia, the United States, and Canada. He is the Curator of the Truth Gym Gallery and sits on the board of various art organizations in Ontario.

We reserve the right to select those works that best embody the submission requirements and professional standards of Truth Gym Gallery.

Artworks listed for sale must be exclusive to Truth Gym Gallery for the entire exhibit. Artists can elect to have works marked Not for Sale (NFS) at the beginning of the exhibition. If any work listed for sale is sold during the duration of the exhibition and the extended online shop period, whether through Truth Gym Gallery or independently by the artist, the commission must be paid to Propeller. 

Shipping fees are not included in the price of the artwork. Buyers can pick up the artwork from the Gallery at the close of the exhibition. The gallery will handle shipping arrangements when required if the work sells during the exhibition at the cost of the buyer. 

Commission: 

25% commission will be collected on any work sold.
